HURST-Mary G. (Garbade) “Weecie” Hurst, 49, of Palm Valley, passed away June 24, 1994 after a sudden illness.  She was born in Charleston, South Carolina (August 10, 1944) and moved here in 1960 from Wilmington, North Carolina.  She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Hurst; son Vince (Aimee) Hurst; mother, Mary (Harold) Potter; sister, Barbara (Bill) Patterson; mother-in-law, Gertrude (Richard) Buchanan; brother-in-law, John (Sally) Hurst; grandson, Jonathan Tyler Hurst; and several nieces and nephews.  Memorial service for Mrs. Hurst will be held at 2:30 P.M.   Tuesday in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, with Rev. Tim Womack officiating.  Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday in the funeral home.
