Judy Louise Harless (Amos) VIEW PROFILE

 

AMOS-Judy Louise (Harless) Amos, 61, of Orange Park, Florida went to be with the Lord on the 30th of June, 2005.  Judy was born in Clifton Forge, Virginia (born May 20, 1944), the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. James O. Harless, Sr.  She was a strong woman of faith in every aspect of her life and was a member of the Fleming Island UMC.  She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and is a past Grand Chaplin of the Order.  Survivors include her husband of 43 years, M. Lindsey Amos; family pet, Karma; daughter, and son-in-law, Teri Groenendyk Calinao and George Calinao; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Amos-Tata and Dr. Fabian Tata; former son-in-law, Russell Groenendyk; granddaughter, Savannah Groenendyk; grandpuppy, Wolfie Tata; brother, James Harless, Jr.; and sister, Betty O’Neill.  While her earthly presence will be sadly missed, her legacy of hope, faith, compassion, strength and unconditional love will live on in all who knew her.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 6, 2005, in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park.  Rev. Charles Hubbard of the NE Florida District of the UMC will be officiating.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home.  Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Church Fund for Those in Need at Fleming Island UMC, 7170 Hwy 17, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.  Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com
