KNUTSON Robert “Bob” Dale Knutson, 62, passed away at home September 5, 2006, following a brief illness. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Orton and Arlene, sister Kristelle Smith and niece Melanie Smith. Bob is survived by his wife, Elizabeth McGovern Knutson; his step-children Debra (David) Barley and John (Dawn) McGovern, 4 grandchildren, David and Ryan Barley, Morgan and Jordan McGovern; brother Rodney (Nancy Snell) Knutson, sister Kandace Knutson, brothers-in-law Irvin Smith and Chris (Helen) Beasley; several nieces and nephews. Bob was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, a member of Arlington Council 4727, Knights of Columbus and Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus of Blessed Trinity Assembly. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran and an active Officer of American Legion Post 283. Family will receive friends at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. from 6pm-8pm Friday evening. A rosary will be recited at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
