LINGENFELTER Kenneth Albert Lingenfelter, 64, St. Augustine, died Jan. 21, 2009 at his home. He was born in Chicago, IL and lived in Jacksonville most of his life before moving to St. Augustine 10 years ago. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and later worked as a detective with the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office, retiring in 1995. He was a Shriner and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Private services are planned. He is survived by three children, Adam Lingenfelter, Orlando, Ryan Lingenfelter, Dallas, TX, Ashley Franklin, Jeffersonton, VA; and two granddaughters.
