Hello fellow Classmates of 1988! Hope everyone is doing well and recovered from our 20 year reunion. For those who missed it or were unable to attend believe me when I say you missed an awesome time. Even though we got rained on pretty good Friday night we didn't let it stop us from moving over to McPherson's. That was a lot of fun as well as the picnic and Saturday night at the Underground. It was great to see everyone and especially those who traveled so far to come back home. Check out some of the pictures on my profile page from the reunion. A special thanks to Chip, Luther, Tracy and everyone else who helped plan and put this all together. Everyone please take care and be safe. My best to you and your families. Let's stay in touch and get together again before the 25 year mark. We are at the age now we should try to gather at least every year at homecoming maybe. God bless and I’ll keep you all in my prayers the greatest class in the history of Ragsdale High School: The Class of 1988!!!!!

Wow! What a fun night we had. It was so awesome seeing everyone. What a nice bunch of people everyone turned out to be. I saw so many people that I never got a chance to talk to, but it was great catching up with so many.

Ok, here is what we need to do. Starting next year we will all begin to start turning 40. The chunks began to rise in my throat after typing that but I must accept it. We are getting old! I think it would be fun to meet in Greensboro somewhere once a month to celebrate all the 40th birthdays that month.

We can pick a regular place or just post it on the website. That would be a great way for us to keep in touch and get together sometimes. Kim Yarbray thought about it for our little group but I think it would be fun for the whole class. I know it would be tough for those who live far away, but I think it would be great for those in town or not too far.

I don’t know exactly when it would begin. I know I am one of the oldest in our class. I will be turning 39 in December. There may be a few who are ahead of me. What do you guys think about that? Post some feedback in here.

Again, loved the reunion! I wish I could have made it to all the events but it was a blast nonetheless. No matter how many friends you make in life, there is always something special about the ones you grew up with.

p.s. Jeff Hughes, check out Jennifer’s profile. It seems the folks from Sedgefield Elementary are trying to out-cute us. I think you need to go ahead and break out the big guns and post Mrs. Stanley’s kindergarten picture. ;-)

HEY EVERYONE!
THANKS FOR COMING OUT TO ALL THE REUNION EVENTS!! HERE ARE SOME INTERESTING FACTS I LEARNED FROM GOING TO MY 20TH HIGH SCHOOL REUNION....IT CAN BE FUN STANDING OUT IN THE RAIN AT A FOOTBALL GAME IF YOUR HANGING WITH THE RAGSDALE CLASS OF 1988....EVERYONE I ASKED THAT PLAYED GOLF SATURDAY MORNING WOULD NOT TELL ME THEIR SCORE, HMMM...TOO MUCH FUN FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE?? AT OUR PICNIC, AFTER LOOKING AT CHIP'S YEARBOOKS AND MRS. GOODE'S CLASS PICTURE, THEN JUST LOOKING AT EVERYONE AND THEIR FAMILIES, I REALIZED YA'LL HAVE A BUNCH OF "MINI ME'S!!" YOUR KIDS LOOK JUST LIKE YOU DID GROWING UP & ARE THE CUTEST I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME!! THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO CAME TO THE PICNIC, WE FED URBAN MINISTRY WITH OUR LEFTOVER PIZZAS. YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT I GAVE THEM GOLD! FINAL THOUGHTS, LIFE'S TOO SHORT, TIME FLIES, SO LET'S KEEP IN TOUCH NOT JUST EVERY FIVE YEARS!!
~ALL MY BEST, TRACY

I had THE best time Saturday! I would love to get together once a month for the 40s Steve! That sounds like fun and I am willing to bet the day after we will feel more like 50. I know I did after the Underground, then Chumbleys, then IHOP, then driving Chris back to his "mama's house" It was like 4am when I finally went to sleep. I wouldn't have traded a single minute of it though! Jerry, maybe Tanner took your shoes...didn't you have them at the IHOP? Let's all definitely get together sooner than 2013!

HEY GANG! WHAT ABOUT DOING SOME S.W.A.M.P. PARTIES OR GET TOGETHERS. SWAMP STANDS FOR SOCIALIZING WITH A MEANIFUL PURPOSE :O)THAT WAY WE DON'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR EVERYONE TO TURN 40! WE COULD MEET AT CHRISTMAS TIME AT THE UNDERGROUND OR WHEREVER AND MAYBE TELL EVERYONE BRING A CAN FOOD, OR A TOY FOR A CHARITY.OR WE COULD JUST MEET NO BIRTHDAYS, TOYS OR CANS REQUIRED!

Great idea on the 40s bdays. Since I'm in Atlanta, you guys will just have to keep posting the party results and the disturbing pictures!!!

Hi Everyone!!!! We had a great time at the reunion. Walking the halls, the rainy football game, catching up at Mcpherson's, Golf, the picnic, and the Saturday night event at The Underground. Wow, it was a whirlwind weekend and a great time. We missed all that were unable to attend and hope that you all may come the next time, which would be the 25th. Alot of people laugh at going to their reunion but you have to remember most of us saw each other almost everyday of our young lives together. We literally grew up together so reuniting is important. Let's all try to keep in touch as best as possible. I think it's a great idea to celebrate the 40th as they occur. Great to see everyone!!!

Sorry I missed the reunion - I will so be there for the next one. I would love to see everyone and catch up. It's so weird that we've all grown up and are preparing for our children to start doing some of the really stupid stuff we tried!!

To all of you, thanks for the memories. I'm sorry I could not attend the reunion. As I sit back and reflect on a milestone in history Barack Obama has made for us all, I also reflect on the continued loss of life as me and my fellow soldiers fight for those things that make this country free. Please keep us all in prayer especially as I prepare to go back to Iraq/Afghanistan in the spring.

Lots of Love

What's a key party?

11/12/08 09:47 PM #146

Jerry Bolin

i was going to tell you to Google
so i did it for you
here ya go .................

Key parties, a phenomenon in the 1970s, were sex parties attended by couples in which the men would all throw their keys into a common bowl, then their wives would pick a key out of the bowl and go home with the man whose key it was.[1]

uuuhhh, oh...sorry I asked guys! That is definitely a party that should be left in the seventies...unless you are in your seventies and nobody's getting any action, and we have alzheimers so we won't remember it to be embarrassed later, even then it;s kinda sketchy! haha
