Janesville - Erin Kelly Chalmers, age 21, died Mon. Nov. 8, 1993, at Ft. Atkinson Memorial Hospital.  She was born March 10, 1972, in Dallas, TX, the daughter of Richard and Pamela (King) Chalmers.  She graduated from Elverado High School, Elkville, IL in 1990.  She also attended Janesville Parker High School and excelled in swim and track.  Erin was a member of Pentecostal Faith Church.

She is survived by her mother, Pamela King of Old DuQuoin, IL; her father Richard Chalmers of Rockford, MN; 2 sisters, Patricia Antionette Galloway of DuQuoin, IL and Candy Sue Rucks of Janesville; 2 brothers, Richard Leon Swayne of Edgerton, and William Anthony Gray of Janesville; her maternal grandmother, Ruth Swayne of DuQuoin; a stepfather, George Swayne of DuQuoin; a stepfather, Jerrold Eccles of Old DuQuoin.

Services will be held at 11:00am on Thurs., Nov. 11 at Erin's mother's home in Old DuQuoin, IL.  Burial will be in Hallidayboro Cemetary in Hallidayboro, IL.  Please call the Neal-McClure Funeral Home (618) 542-4225) for directions to her mother's home.  An Irish wake will be held from Wed., Nov. 10 from 5:00pm until Thurs., Nov 11 at 1pm.
