Patricia Zwolinski VIEW PROFILE

Patricia A. "Pinky" Zwolinski, age 40, a lifelong Janesville resident, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening, July 9, 2012, at St. Mary's Janesville Hospital Emergency Department. She was born Dec. 25, 1971, in Janesville, the daughter of the late Patrick J. and Sheila A. (Manogue) Zwolinski. She attended school in Janesville, and was a graduate of Parker High School, Class of 1990. She received her Associate of Arts Degree from Blackhawk Technical College in 1997. She later received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from Upper Iowa University in 2001. Pinky worked as an Accountant at Hwy.59 & I-90 Trucks & Parts. She was a lifelong member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Pinky was a very avid fisherwoman, and was very skilled at tying her own flies as fishing lures. She took tremendous pride in her gardening and yard care, and always had a project in mind to work on. Music and reading meant so much to her, and she enjoyed listening to or reading many different genres of both! Her greatest joy in her life was spending time with her family and friends, and especially her nieces and nephews! She was the "cool aunt", and always tried to make time for each of them individually! She was a mentor to each niece and nephew, and always took great pride in their achievements.
Pinky is survived by her brother and sisters: Mark (Judie) Zwolinski, Eleanor (Larry) Martorano, Kelly (Clyde) Swoger, and Tracy Slatter; her beloved nieces and nephews: Melissa (Zach) Levy,
Jennifer (Joshua) Zwolinski-Falk, Christopher (fiancee, Emily) Conner, Davey Conner, Ian and Colin Thomasgard, Adam, Jessica, Casey, and Austin Retzlaff, and Jimmy and Joey Slatter; aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends; including her lifelong friend, Kathy Hirsch. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Julie Thomasgard.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, July 13, 2012, with a Eulogy at 11 a.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 315 Cherry St., with Fr. James Kuhn officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH-ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, JANESVILLE, 21 S.
