Roy Chenyworth of Jasper, died on Tuesday, April 04,2017 in Beaumont. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00p.m. Saturday, April 08, 2017 at Shultz Funeral Home with Interment to follow at West Oaks Cemetery in Jasper. Family will greet friends on Friday, April 07, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home. .

A native and lifelong resident of Jasper. He was born on February 01, 1945 to Tony and Minnie Williams in Jasper, TX. Roy served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He spent his life working as a mechanic and jailer. He is survived by his wife Connie Chenyworth of Jasper ; sons David Chenyworth, Tony Chenyworth & wife Ambyre all of Jasper and Trey Chenyworth & wife Jessica of Woodville, TX; daughters Stacy Hartstine & husband Kevin of Sulphur, LA; a brother Joe Williams & wife Vickie of Jasper; a sister Linda Whitehead of Merryville, LA; as well as 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
