Alysia Nicole Giesing, 22, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, April 27, 2003, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born January 12, 1981, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Kenneth Eugene Giesing and Julia Ann Lewis. She graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1999. She was looking forward to being a mother to her baby boy on August 31, 2003.

Alysia and I lived together and worked together for a year after we got out of High School. When we decided to move to different places we still remained great friends. I remember her coming to my house a couple days before the accident showing me her ultrasound pictures of her little boy. She was so excited because she had really wanted a boy. She was a wonderful person and she will always be in my heart.
