He was preceeded in death by his sons Robert Crevier 1972 and James Crevier in 2007. Also his Sisters Lucile Mason of Mount Clemons Michigan 1977 , Charlette Wilber of Sioux city Iowa 2012 Margret Bernard of Jefferson south dakota 2013 and his only brother Raymond Creiver of Jefferson South Dakota 1994 and his parent Bert Crevier of Jefferson south dakota 1958 and Leona chicione Crevier of Jefferson South Dakota 1963.

Dean Crevier grew up in jefferson south dakota and farmed there until 1966 when he moved to the Sioux Falls South Dakotat area and farmed there until he retired in 1987. He was a avid racket ball player for many years at the YMCA and enjoyed watching his sons partake in sports at Lennox High School. He enjoyed watching his sons in sports events at Lennox High School in the 1970s His son Robert Crevier was an out standing wrestler. He was undefeated in 9 matches at 132 pound weight class his Senior year at Lennox High school until he was killed in a car train crash in 1972. He was a great Football player as well. His sons Jerry and Bill Crevier were out standing wrestlers,Football, and Track stars as well for Lennox High School setting Numerous School records in Track along with their older brother Robert.
