Dale Altreuter VIEW PROFILE

JEFFERSON - Dale A. "Alty" Altreuter, 40, of Jefferson, died on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.

Born on July 23, 1970, in Fort Atkinson, to Roland and Bonnie (Beirow) Altreuter, he married Erika Miko on April 13, 1991, in Fort Atkinson.

He was a member of the Lutheran faith.

Dale was a truck driver who drove for Kreilkamp Trucking of Appleton, along with many other companies over the years. He loved the open road and driving his truck.

He was a loving father, son, husband and best friend to Erika. Dale's highest priority was his family and providing for them.

He enjoyed hunting and NASCAR, especially driving his car, and loved his dog, Precious, very much.

Surviving are his wife, Erika Altreuter of Jefferson; one daughter, Andrea Altreuter of Jefferson; one son, Jameson Altreuter of Jefferson; his parents, Roland and Bonnie Altreuter of Jefferson; one sister, Angela (Todd) Gutheridge of Jefferson; three nieces, Brianna Gutheridge, Rachel Stevenson and Alex Nagel; two sisters-in-law, Gabe Brechler of Johnson Creek and Julie Nagel of Soldiers Grove; two aunts, Kay (Bernie) Olsen and Julie (Jim) Nelson, both of Fort Atkinson; one uncle, David (Betty) Altreuter of Wisconsin Rapids; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents; and one uncle, Loren Altreuter.

Funeral services will be held at the Olsen Funeral Home in Jefferson at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 14, with the Rev. Mark O. Bartsch officiating. Burial will take place in Union Cemetery in Jefferson.
