
Paula M. Davis, 39, of Jefferson, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at her home.
She was born on Dec. 14, 1969, in Chicago, Ill., daughter of Howard and Arrilla "Mae" (Walker) Harris.
Paula graduated from Jefferson High School in 1987. She received her degree in business management from Cardinal Stritch University, and was attending DeVry University pursuing her master's degree.
She married Gregory Davis on March 28, 2009, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jefferson.
She was employed at Briggs & Stratton in Jefferson.
Paula had served as a volunteer emergency medical technician for the Helenville Fire Department. She also volunteered at the Humane Society of Jefferson County.
She loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, cooking and entertaining. She enjoyed crafts and collecting fairies, earning her the nickname of "little sprite."
She is survived by her husband, Greg of Jefferson; daughter, Amanda Stark of Jefferson; sons, William Davis and Donovan Davis, both of Jefferson, and Peter Stark II of North Dakota; her mother, Mae Harris of Lake Mills; her father, Howard, Harris of Fort Atkinson; her father- and mother-in-law, Carson and Ann Davis of Pewaukee; her maternal grandmother, Helen Walker of Jefferson; a sister, Kaylene Harris of Lake Mills; a brother, Howard "Howie" Harris II of Fort Atkinson; a half sister, Susan Multhauf of Fort Atkinson; and half brother, Shawn Harris of Jefferson.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Oscar Walker, and paternal grandmother, Myrtle Harris.
