I know that Lavinia Clausen works at Donald Gorden hospital in JHB. Can't help beyond that!

Howie Berger has promised to attend the Gala Dinner on the Wednesday evening, February 3, 2016. Apparently he will still be on this long long safari until then, but I am hoping he will join us for all three days. Everyone should see his web site displaying his wonderful wildlife photography skills.

Lavinia Clausen is at Wits Donald Gordon Medical Center as a practitioner, or was, at last check, but she appears to not want to participate in reunion activities. She has not replied to any efforts to make contact.

Be well, and stay alive!

I received the communication about Leslie Berman and I'm stunned! He and I have a mutual cousin living in Johannesburg. I heard about his passing separately from her. Imagine how strange it is to hear that he's alive!

In first year we had Les Berman, who then left our class to do a Medical BSc after 2nd year. He subsequently became a pulmonologist and emigrated to Canada. I tried to contact him and called him in 1998. His wife told me that les had died that year. She told me that the news media were full of revelations about the Paedophile priests. Les then told her that hehad been abused while a schoolboy at Marist Brothers Inanda. Shortly after this he committed suicide.

The other Les Berman is the guy who is still alive and graduated with us in 1966.
