NEVILLE BAYER OBITUARY BAYER, Dr. Neville - Suddenly and cruelly, Neville was taken from us. A prince among men, he leaves many, many people to mourn him. He loved and was loved deeply by his family, wife Lynn, his daughters Melissa (Glenn), Heidi (Scott), his two adored granddaughters Willow and Dylan and his loving canine companions Stinky and Snog. We are all brokenhearted. Neville was a brilliant Neurologist who cared deeply about his patients, his colleagues and the entire St. Michael's staff. Teaching and working at the hospital completed him. He will be sorely missed. He embraced all facets of life with passion and enthusiasm and has been taken from us much too soon. The family cannot possibly name all the individuals at St. Michael's who treated and cared for Neville during this extremely difficult time. The care has been stellar. We are deeply and truly grateful to each and every one of you. Friends, we have been overwhelmed by your kindness, thoughts and prayers. Thank you. To honour Neville's specific wishes, there will be no Shiva. His hope was that friends would gather with friends and raise a glass. No flowers, please. If you wish to honour his memory, donations to the Stroke Fund at St. Michael's Hospital would be greatly appreciated. Funeral will be held on Monday, August 3rd.
