After high School, Kay and I lived in her sisters boarding house in Bend. Kay was going to community college and I was in beauty school...we had alot of great times with all the other girls in the house. After I was done with school...married and pregnant... Kay and her sister Betty Jo gave me a surprise baby shower. Kay moved to California and was killed by a drunk driver...I can remember the total heart break of Betty Jo. I will always remember brushing her hair, laying on the roof tanning (we had to crawl out a window) and the many trips to the lakes on the weekends and of course a little bit of drinking....and the many trips to get hamburgers late at night..Kay, I will always remember your friendship and your loving heart....Marjorie Dalrymple Miller

I wasn't really close to Kay in school but I will always remember her beautiful smile and being jelous of her regal looking long dark hair.
