Robert J. Potts II 'Weez', 50, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away Jan. 1, 2010.

He was a life long Akron resident and member of the Buchtel High School Class of '77. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a lead man with Patio Enclosures. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, friendliness and love of family.

Preceded in death by son, Shawn D. Nester, he is survived by wife, Luanne; parents, Robert and Anna Potts; grandmother, Thelma Potts Parish; sons, Dwayne Freedom and Rickey Bibey; sister, Karen (James) Reddick; brothers, Eli (Lashell) Bryant, Ronny (Gail) Potts and Ricky Potts; sisters-in-law, Suzanne (Dennis) Jeffrey and Roxanne (Daryl) Tonkin; eight grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Rev. Stephanie Lee will officiate a funeral service at noon Saturday, January 9, 2010, at the Ciriello and Carr Falls Chapel (810 Portage Tr.), where friends may call one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Cancer Society .
