Deszi Arnaz Burley (Mr. Burley) was born July 14, 1958, to Fontelle D. Burley and Floyd Wilkes Jr. in Rendville, Ohio. 

He later relocated with his family to Akron, Ohio where he attended Buchtel High School. Deszi was self-employed. He was a fun loving person who enjoyed music, dominoes and most of all spending time with his family.

On July 22, 2014, he went home to be with the Lord peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. 

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Arnita Burley; and grandson, Kayden Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memory daughters, Desiree and Tana Burley, Tiera Lawrence, whom he adored; granddaughter, Milan N. McCoy who was the love of his life; loving mother, Fontelle D. Burley; father, Floyd Wilkes Jr.; siblings, Theresa D. Burley, Michael A. (Angela) Burley, Deborah K. Williams, John W. (Rhoda) Burley, Tonya L. (Andy) Daniels, Ruthie (Robert) Butts, Flo Wilkes, Flora C. Wilkes, Karla M. (Billy) Dancy, Lora J. Wilkes and Floyd Wilkes III; special friend, Rosalee Walton; and 72 nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends who had the pleasure of loving him. 

Friends may call on Tuesday, July 29th from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at St. Ashworth Temple, 1086 V. Odom Blvd. Funeral services will immediately follow. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to 1100 Packard Dr., Akron, OH 44320. 330-836-2725
