Billie Driggers (Daily) - Class Of 1974

Billie D. Daily, 57, of St. Marys, passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at her residence.

She was born June 20, 1955, in Charleston, S.C., and had resided in Camden County since 1982. Billie loved to crochet and cross stitch and can be remembered for her beautiful handmade pieces she made for her family and friends for holidays and special occasions.

A celebration of Billie's life will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, from Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Parks Cemetery in Summerville, S.C.

Survivors include her children, Bobbi Sordelet (Adrin) of St. Marys and Sara Daily of Washington state; mother, Inez Driggers of Johns Island, S.C.; former husband, Bob Daily of Washington state; 10 brothers and sisters, Jim Driggers of Kingsland, Linda Lyons and Diane Hoff of Johns Island, S.C., Pat Malec (Gary) of Myrtle Beach, Fla., Trudi Griffith (Rod) of Citra, Fla., Donna Caddell (Bob) of Colorado Springs, Colo., Kathy Sheffield (Don) of Athol, Mass., Sherrill Wooten (Clay) of Salt Lake City, Utah, John Driggers of Bydalia, Miss., and Robin Jones of Summerville, S.C.; a granddaughter, Caitlynn Tracy; sister-in-law, Linda Driggers of Summerville, S.C.; 25 nieces and nephews, 29 great-nieces and nephews, one great-great-nephew, and her beloved dog, Atti-Mae.


Billie was preceded in death by her father, Jess W. Driggers, and brother Jess W. Driggers Jr.

The family requests memorial contributions in memory of Billie Daily be made to the American Cancer Association or the Diabetes Foundation.

Allison Memorial Chapel of St. Marys is in charge of arrangements.
