In Memory

Maryann Kline (Arbelles)

Maryann A. Kline, age 75, of Brainerd, MN was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on June 18, 2018 surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Maryann is now free to dance and sing as she walks the beaches of heaven without pain or worry of impending pain.

Maryann was born on April 23, 1943 to Fred and Marion (Kinney) Kline in Kalamazoo, Michigan where she grew up adoring her older sister, Carol A. Steele. She attended Western Michigan Unive...rsity to study music where she met James W Ashbrook, Sr. They were married (twice) over more than 20 years, blessed with four children growing up in Minnesota. After a move to Florida she married Rodolfo d'Arbelles IV, adoring his children as if they were her own. She was then reunited with her first-born daughter after a painstaking decision to adopt her to a loving family at birth.

While Maryann held many different careers (including bank teller and newspaper advertising sales), she was most proud of her role as an RN after returning to college in her late 40's. During her 25 year nursing career, her favorite position was charge nurse at Bethany Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN where she mentored many care staff; teaching that above all else, love and kindness are the most powerful approach.

Maryann is dearly loved by her sister, her children: Wendi (Jeff) Londos, Richard Ashbrook, Pam Finch (Alan Hudalla), Randy (Victoria) Ashbrook, James (Jessica) Ashbrook Jr, Michael Finch Sr, grandchildren: Tricia (Mark) Woitaszek, Stacey (Pat) McCarthy, Kacey Finch, Michael Finch Jr, Sydney (Andy) Schwinghammer, Aeron Ashbrook, Luke Ashbrook, Lucy Ashbrook, Mary Enos, Molly Enos, great grandchildren: Kayden Schwinghammer, Lola Schwinghammer and Liem McCarthy, niece Christine Collins and nephew David (Lisa) Clark and families. Step children: Rodolfo d'Arbelles V, Carlos d'Arbelles and Ana (James) Mulhearn and families.

To all she loved, our beloved mother/grandmother/sister/aunt would say "Never forget to always remember that I love you!"

Maryann was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved Rodolfo d'Arbelles IV.

Maryann's wish was for family and friends to celebrate her life. On Saturday, June 23, 2018 please join her family at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 418 8th Ave NE, Brainerd, MN for an open house from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a short memorial service at 2:00 pm followed by a time for sharing memories.
