Alistair passed away peacefully on July 5, 2022 after valiantly fighting stage IV cancer for almost 2 years, with his dear wife Judith constantly at his side caring for him and advocating on his behalf.

He leaves behind: his beloved wife and soul-mate Judith; step-sons Elliot and Evan; mother, Grace; father, Clive; Siblings: Philippa and John, his nephew and nieces, and many wonderful friends.

Alistair was an engineering consultant. He spent his childhood and youth living in the U.K, Papua New Guinea, and Germany/Switzerland. He studied at the University of Manitoba.

He loved the outdoors, adventure, and travel and while he was a man of several countries, cultures, and languages, it would be fair to say that he still saw his true home as the Island of New Guinea.

There will be a service in celebration of his life at St George’s Anglican Church at 10 am on Saturday, July 16th.
