Mr. Daniel Lee Cooper, 17, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at CMC-Northeast. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 25, at 4 p.m. at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Keith Navey. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday night from 5 to 8 p.m. at Wilkinson Funeral Home. Daniel was born May 26, 1994 in Mecklenburg Co. to Laura Osmond Tucker and Todd Cooper. He attended South Rowan High School for two years, before transferring A.L. Brown High School, where he was set to graduate this spring and was extremely proud of that. He loved motor-cross, skateboarding, artwork and especially his dog. Daniel was a very giving person and loved his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Laura Osmond Tucker and fianc‚, Paul Ulm; father, Todd Cooper; brother, Steven Cooper; grandparents, Bucky and Ruby Cooper, Larry Osmond, Deb and Karl Knowles; aunts, Jamie Seacrest and husband, Bryan, Dawn Williams and husband, Bruce, Lori Osmond, Amanda Osmond; cousins, Brittany and Charles Williams, Evan Seacrest.
