Tammy Lynn Carey, 36, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away August 26, 2008 at Manor Care. Funeral services will be at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m Friday at the funeral home. Ms. Carey was born Sept. 6, 1971 in Kansas City, Ks. and was a life long resident. She was a Clerk for Gear for Sports for around 15 years. Tammy had attended Holy Name Catholic Church. Survivors include Father and Step Mother: James McCormick, Jr. and June Palmer, Kansas City, Ks., Mother: Reba McCormick, Lawson, Mo.; Daughters: Paige Carrey and her Father Matt Carey and Maddison Prosser and her father Joe Prosser; Brother: James McCormick, III; Grandmother: Betty Barnes.
