Have had a wonderful married life of 31 + years (June 17, 1979). My wife and I have "co-raised" 3 beautiful children.

After much nagging, on Lynda's part, I finally had knee replacement surgery back in November of 2009. I actually hurt it about 28 years ago while playing softball. Mike Saferstein and Kirk Davis were both there. Now I'm like every one else that has had it done, wondering why I didn't do it sooner. I am feeling one heck of a lot better...actually looking forward to getting outside to work in the yard in the Spring and taking our dog for walks.

I was diagnosed with cancer in 2015. I had 4 years of chemo and then 3 operations to remove some malignant nodules in my lungs. They are now gone and possibly going to be cancer-free after a CT scan in May. So far so good. I haven't had chemo for a year now.

So have fun, think 'good thoughts' only, learn to laugh at yourself, and 'count your blessings'!

We now have 5 gorgeous Grandkids. Joanna-10 in January, Haley-8 in January(both in St Louis), Mila here in KC just turned 4 in Oct., Carmel-3 and Cyrus-2, both in San Diego.

I had two years at Penn Valley and three years at UMKC.
1 year as a dock foreman at a local truckline.
1 year as a buyer with Payless Cashways.
2 years in store management in Dallas with Eckerd Drugs.
21 years as VP with Anchor Roofing and Siding.
20 years working in logistics with Sprint.

I AM NOW HAPPILY RETIRED!
