Beverly Ann (Bowen) Van Hercke passed away on July 22, 2020 at the age of 73 in Gilbert, AZ. 

Beverly was born on May 29, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to Loin and Audrey (Johnson) Bowen.  She attended Southwest Missouri College from 1966-1968.  On June 28, 1969, she married Robert L. Van Hercke, Sr. in Kansas City, where they lived for the next 30 years.  They raised one son, Robert Jr.  Beverly and Robert Sr. moved to Gilbert, AZ in 1998.  Beverly was a passionate, creative person and was an art designer for several small businesses.  She eventually started her own business with her husband out of the basement of their home.  She was an ardent collector of art and sculpture.  Beverly loved sports and was an avid golfer, often traveling for golf adventures with her extended family and friends.  One of her greatest loves was spending time with her granddaughter, Avery, doing crafts, word searches and puzzles.  She was known for her infectious smile, her quick wit and her kind and compassionate spirit.  

She was preceded in death by her father Loin and mother Audrey, sisters Linda and Shirley and brother Loin Jr. (Mike).  She is survived by her husband Robert Sr., her son Robert Jr., her brother Don, and sister Patricia.
