I always got a genuinely cheerful greeting from Susan when our paths crossed in school and I believe she treated everyone with the same unforced grace and kindness. I last saw her in her Vancouver, WA home for a one-day visit over 30 years ago and she was as gracious as ever to me and my wife, whom she'd never met but made feel as welcome as an old friend. On top of all that she was "wicked" smart. What a complete person she was and what a loss her family must feel.
I also remember the parties at Susan's house. I remember her as kind, compassionate and a lot of fun. I am truly saddened by the lost of all our classmates. My thoughts are with all their familes.

Saddened by Susan's passing.
I remember going to her house on 55th & State Line for parties in 7th grade. What a house. Wow.
My warmest sympathies to Nancy and Susan's family.

I was shocked to see Susan's name in the "In Memory" category. I remember what a nice, fun person she was. RIP
