Celebration of Life:

Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm The family home, 1008 S. Lindenwood, Olathe KS.

Barbara Susan Carrithers, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 69 on May 7th, 2018. She fought a private battle with cancer since the summer of 2016. Susan was born on December 4th, 1948. She grew up in KCMO, and attended Southwest High School and Baker University. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta.

She is survived by her loving husband of almost 49 years, Steve Carrithers of Olathe, KS and lovingly remembered by her son Doug (Christan) Carrithers of Kansas City, MO and Ally (Jeremy) Wilson of Raymore, MO. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Seth Carrithers, Ashleigh Martin, Logan Martin, Logan Wilson, Lizzy Wilson and great granddaughter Stella Martin.

We would like to invite all her friends and family to a casual Celebration of Life at the Carrithers’ home on Saturday May 12th from 1-5pm. We look forward to sharing memories with anyone that would love to come by to visit: 1008 S. Lindenwood, Olathe KS.

I remember Susie in our younger days with a smile on her face and a chuckle. She was here to have a presence of life. She will be missed but not forgotten. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.

Susie and I were born 5 days apart and lived on the same block throughout Hale Cook, Bingham, and SW.  We reconnected through social media, and I saw the joy she took in her children and grandkids. Rest in peace.
