I Remember "Buck" well.. couldn't miss him. He was a big boy.. That is why I remember him so well. I knew him and would occaisonally visit his house as we had a mutual friend. There was a punching bag in hanging in the garage that he and his bro would beat up.

I saw Buck even before I went to Kapaa High. The first time I lay eyes on him he was playing in the waves at Wailua beach.. Remember well, the waves was HUGE 6ft plus and so was Buck...

Poor Buck was thrown from the back of a pick up at a high rate of speed, somewhere where the Wailua Homesteads meet Kapahi and killed instantly. Alcohol was involved.
I saw all the broken trees at the scene. The funeral was at Kauai Mortuary in Koloa, his poor Mom and Dad were devastated. He was cremated and I don't know what became of the ashes.. It won't be long now bruddah, save me a place in that Hawaii in the sky...
