2021 BUDGET PLANNING BOARD MEETING

DECEMBER 1, 2020

 

1.The meeting was called to order at 1:03 pm mst by Hayward.

2. Present: hayward, Mills, Patton, Brown, Borgwardt and Honeyman

3. Treasurer Brown went through a detailed draft of a 2021 budget and compared it to 2020.  After board input, Brown will update the budget and present it to the board at its December 15, 2020, meeting. Some points discussed include the following:

This December, the board will replace the $7000 that was shorted in the reserve fund in 2019.                                              

 We have saved thousands of dollars on gas, water, and electricity, primarily in response to the installation of a new irrigation system and pool covers.                                      

Todd Melvin will be asked to complete the pressure adjustment in December.    

Byron Johnson has taken the lead on TV issues regarding any new contract.    

The new manager will be instructed to keep a close eye on expenses.                      

It was moved by Mills and seconded by Borgwardt to have no increase in HOA dues in 2021. Motion passed.

Although roofs under warranty were previously inspected and determined to have no damage by C & N Roofing, the roofs now have been discovered to have hail damage by ProWest. Travelers will be requested to send its adjuster to inspect the areas in question with the certified representative of ProWest. Any monies returned to us would be applied to the cost of new roofing.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:03 pm mst.
