KAYSVILLE -- Trace Earl Scothern, beloved son, brother, grandson and special friend, found peace January 20, 1994 in Farmington, Utah.
He was born June 23, 1970 in Ogden, Utah, a son of Roger D. and Denise Darrohn Scothern. He was reared and educated in Kaysville, graduated from Davis High School. He had attended Weber State university. He was currently living in Salt Lake City. He was a member of the LDS Church.
Trace was gentle, caring and compassionate. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Trace loved the outdoors, enjoyed rock climbing, skiing, golf and was a talented artist. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He worked at Valley View Golf Course in Layton.
Surviving are his parents, Roger and Colleen Scothern, Kaysville; Denise Scothern, Salt Lake City; grandparents, Delores Scothern, Layton; Wendell Scothern, Deseret; Fawn Jensen, Kaysville; Lowell Darrohn, Layton; great-grandmothers, Elizabeth Tall, Kaysville; Ruby Scothern, Brigham City; Faith burton, Ogden; two brothers and two sisters, Chad Scothern, park City; Travis (Laurel) Scothern, West Valley City; Jose Scothern, Salt Lake City; Amber Scothern, Kaysville.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 24, 1994, 2:30 p.m. at the Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, Kaysville, where family and friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 1:15 - 2:15 p.m.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
