In Memory

Lance Hardy

Lance Kenneth Hardy, born on July 24th, 1973 to Ken and Jackie Hardy of Farmington, Utah, passed away on October 20th, 2019, at the age of 46. Lance always acted like he had a rough & tough demeanor, but he had a good, kind, loving heart. His niece and nephews were often timid around him because of his “rough exterior” but they quickly saw through to his gentle, kidding nature, and bright smile. He was sentimental, thoughtful, and payed close attention to detail—especially when giving gifts. He worked hard, played hard, and always looked to help others in need. He watched over & protected his siblings and even saved a couple of them from drowning. He liked to explore, camp, and was a big dreamer.

From a young age, Lance liked to drive fast. Whether it was racing his motorcycle in desert races (where he won many trophies), racing go-carts, snowmobiles, or his beloved Camaro he bought as a teenager.

Lance loved his son, Porter, very much. The day Porter was born was the happiest day of Lance’s life. Lance thought Porter was everything he wished he could have been.

We will deeply miss Lance, but know he is at peace now, both mentally and physically, and is encircled by loved ones who preceded him.

Lance is survived by his parents, Ken & Jackie Hardy; his son, Porter; his 3 siblings, Jamie Hardy Cahoon, Brandi Hardy Wendel (Jared), and Cody Hardy (Danielle); his niece and nephews; and his grandpa, Ronald Randall.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019 from 3-5 pm at Woodland Park (300 S. 200 E.) Farmington, Utah. Casual dress according to the weather.
