OGDEN - Aaron Ray Woodward, 67, passed away March 27, 2016 at Washington Terrace Rehabilitation. He was born September 30, 1948 in Ogden, Utah, to Emil and Pearl Bartel Woodward. He married Sue Cheshire and they later divorced. He married Rita Gayle Opheikens and they were sealed in the Bountiful LDS Temple.

He grew up in the Kaysville area where he attended elementary school and graduated from Davis High school. He also attended Weber State University. He was a Projectionist in the Movie Industry. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He loved to collect stamps, leather work and doing counted cross stitch where he stitched many temples for family and friends. He enjoyed playing Santa Claus where he would visit church activities as well as spreading the Christmas cheer to those in the care center. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a High Priest in the Ogden 5th Ward. He served as an Instructor in the High Priest Group and was a faithful Home Teacher.

He is survived by his wife, Rita; son, Sean Ray Woodward (Tammy); and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Joem; and brother, Jim.
