She was born in Billings, Montana on October 12, 1948 to Richard Keith "Dick" and Betty May (Miller) Ross.

She was raised in Layton, Utah and attended high school at Davis High in Kaysville. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her only child; a daughter, Wendy Ann Mayfield; her brother Keith (Debbie) Ross; two sisters: Sheila (John) Love, Vicky Wilson; and two Grandchildren: twins Cody, and Brittany Walton; and Great-Grandchildren, Niece's & Nephew's.
