Death: Janice Rae Harriman Benton

After a long struggle with numerous health problems, Janice Rae Harriman Benton, age 49, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Kaysville,on Monday, November 23, 1998.

We will miss her quick smile, her large bowls of popcorn and huge glass of ice. Most of all we will miss her help and the many things she always did for her family. We will see you again, Janice. Robert, Joe Rob, Kyle and Brandi.Janice was born January 24, 1949 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Joseph and Norma Hoye Harriman. She married Robert Benton, September 13, 1973 in Elko, Nevada. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a life-long resident of Kaysville, graduating from Davis High School in 1967, where she was a cheerleader. She had been a flight attendant for Braniff Airlines out of Dallas, Texas, and was a very fun and loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and grandmother.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Joe Rob and Kyle (Denae) Benton; one daughter, Brandi Benton, all of Kaysville; one granddaughter, Keri; her mother, Norma, Ogden; four sisters, Helen (Hal) LaBelle, Bountiful; Sheila (Boyce) Carlson, Ogden; Marilyn (Mort) Phillips, Park City; Linda (Scott) Buckley, Ogden. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Harriman.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28, 1998, 2 p.m. at the Kaysville Utah East LDS Stake Center, 201 South 600 East. Friends and family may call Friday at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday at the stake center, 12:45-1:45 p.m. Interment Kaysville City Cemetery.
