Gregory Smith, 73, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away June 14. 2026.  He was born on March 16, 1953 in Kearney, NE to George and Phyllis (McDowell) Smith.

Gregory leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family and all who had to privilege of knowing him.Gregory's life was marked by connections and experience that touched those around him. Though he is no longer around us, the moments shared the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Gregory will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

Gregory is survived by his wife of 52 years Carolyn Smith; his daughter, Ashley (Josh Palmer) Smith; grandchildren, Austin Smith, Ashton Leake, Aydin Palmer, Ashlynn Palmer and Andyn Palmer; brothers, George (Kim ) Smith Jr., and Tom (Sherrie) Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Phyllis Smith; daughter Arika Smith and brothers, Brad Smith, Bill Smith.
