KEARNEY — Shalene “Shelley” Hoban, 35, of Kearney died last week at her home.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Layton-Craig Funeral Home in Minden with the Rev. Nicholas Baker officiating.
There will be no visitation.
She was born April 18, 1971, in Minden to Sandra Cavanaugh-Bjorklun.
Survivors include her father, John Emal of Kearney; twin brother, Shane Hoban of Elm Creek; sisters, Shannon Graham of Hastings and Erin Emal of Lincoln; grandmothers, Maxine Cavanaugh of Minden and Norma Emal of Minden; and stepfather, Doug Bjorklun of Lincoln.

I heard about Shelly a few years ago and was very saddened to hear about her death. We were good friends for many years and had more than our share of laughs together; I still can't think about her without missing her and smiling about our memories ;)Rest in Peace, Sweetie!
