MICHAEL BROWN

Michael Lee Brown, 28, of Lincoln, formerly of Kearney, died Sunday, September 27, 1998, at his home in Lincoln. Services will be at 2pm Thursday at O'Brien & Straatman Funeral home with Elder Brent McMurtrey officiating. Burial will be at the Kearney Cemetery.

He was born August 14, 1970, to Larry and Karen (Prather) Brown in Kearney. He graduated from Kearney Senior High School in 1989 and attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He was a business owner in Kearney before moving to Lincoln where he was employed by B and D Auto. He enjoyed bowling, camping, skiing, wind and knee boarding, and was a car enthusiast.

Survivors include his parents of Kearney; daughter Gabrielle Brown, Austin, Texas; brother Brad, Kearney; sister Brenda McMurtrey, McCook; grandmothers Geraldine Prather and Glenda Brown, both of Kearney; and fiance Krista Mooremeier, and her daughters Brooke and Ashley, Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by two grandfathers.
