Colleen L. Danielson, 43 of Kearney died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at St. Luke's Good Samaritan Village in Kearney. A Celebration of Life reception with family and friends will be 3-5 PM, Saturday, December 13, 2014 at O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home. Private burial will be in the Kearney Cemetery. She was born February 15, 1971 in Kearney to Rex and Carol (Altmaier) Danielson. She grew up in Kearney. She received her education in Kearney and was a graduate of Kearney High School.
Colleen loved music and loved to dance. She taught dance lessons throughout her life. She worked at car sales and at Good Samaritan Hospital in Environmental Services. She also loved her cats.
Colleen was diagnosed in her late 20’s with Multiple Sclerosis. Her condition worsened. She fought a long, hard battle, but she maintained her sense of humor and good spirit. Colleen always had a beautiful smile and beautiful hair. She will be missed by many.
Survivors included, son, Drew Danielson of Kearney, father, Rex and his wife, Twila, sister, Stacy (Danielson) Danley and husband, James and niece, Addison Danley.
She was preceded in death by her mother, maternal grandparents, William and Wynona Altmaier and paternal grandparents, Carl and Alyce Danielson.
