Our classmate, Kathleen LeVea, passed away in 1968, leaving a four-year-old daughter, Shelley, at that time.

Shelley Reid Salmons would like to find someone who remembers her mother, so that she could learn something about her.

Shelley's contact information is:

Does anyone know Clifford H Spohr's email address? I would like to contact him as he and I were good friends.

Hi Bob,

We do have a phone listing for Cliff, so I will try and call him as he has not responded to date to a mailing.  I will let you know if I have any luck.  We do not have an email address as yet for him.

Sincerely,

Elaine Zax Wood

On the Classmate Profiles page, there is an icon next to the classmate's name if attending the reunion.  Check it out...it looks like a person!

Also, on the Classmate Profiles page in the top box (center) see who and how many classmates are attending each event.

Is anyone traveling to the Reunion on September 5th or 6th driving through Saratoga Springs, NY? If so, would you like a paying passenger? I'll be visiting in Saratoga Springs and I'm finding it difficult to get to Buffalo from there by public transport. Could we add the Amtrak station on Exchange St to the list of destination places? Thank you for your help.

If you are able to provide transportation from airport to hotel for classmates coming to the reunion from out of town, please add your name to this post.

There will be free parking available for the Sat. afternoon reception for Artist And Friends at the Quaker Bonnett Restaurant on Allen St.

D'Youville College Parking Lot C  on Connecticut St between West and Fargo ST.

It is about a 1 mile walk from the parking lot to the restaurant.  This is in the event that there is insufficient parking available closer to the restaurant.

I have solved my problem of how to get to Buffalo from Saratoga Springs. Would anyone be interested in sharing a cab to the Exchange Street Amtrak station on Sunday AM? I need to be there for a 7:45 AM train. Or, would anyone be able to help me get there? Please email me directly at sander@pshift.com if you can help me out. Thanks for your help. I'm looking forward to the Reunion. Everyone's travels through life have been varied and interesting! It's going to be fun catching up!

I may have missed it, but can't find the information on what River Oaks Golf Club address is (Sat. night).

I checked their website, but can't find their address anywhere. Sent 'em an e-mail asking them, but have received no response.

Found Blybos info okay, so I'm not completely daft.

So sorry I can't make it to the reunion.  I would love to see ya'lll again.  We are here in Austin, Tx enjoying life with our 3 out of 4 kids here with us along with 21/2 grandkids.  Our fourth is in Tokyo with our other 2 grandkids.  I hope everyone has a great time renewing friendships and wonderful memories.  i've been revisiting my favorites by the Temptations and Ray Charles.  Johnny Mathis brings back memories which will remain private.

I sincerely wish to thank Kathy, Andi , Tibor and all members of the Reunion Committee for bringing us all together for this Reunion.  It was no small task, but it was a major accomplishment .

We were raised and taught by the Greatest Generation, and we entered into our young adult lives during the turbulent 60's.  We entered to help change the world, to make it a better place.  After meeting many of my fellow classmates and getting to know them once again, I believe that we all made a small part of this world a better place. I wish to thank all of you for being the kind of people you turned out to be.

Take care for now, and hopefully, our Reunion Committee may put together another reunion for our 55th or even 60th!

Kathy, Andy Tibor and others that worked so hard on behalf of the class of 63 thanks for a wonderful and memorable weekend can't control the weather but we all had many options. I thought Fridays speeches were inspiring especially the reading from Bob and I loved saying the Pledge of Allegiance . Hope everyone has a great finish to 2013!! Mike

Congratulations to the entire committee for an outstanding 50th Reunion.  Kathy, Andi and Ty for taking the lead Friday night getting the program started and running smoothly. Bob Coogan for reading the letter from Kevin Cook wanting to come but will have to make his appearence at the 55th in 2018.  Thank you to Mike Behrens for his comment regarding the feelings he had standing and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.  Bill Carter for leading us in the Pledge who might not have been at the reunion if not for a cold call from the search committee looking for missing students.

This reunion transported me back fifty years recapturing conversations I never had with students I should have reached out to while in school.  It's amazing how easy it is to communicate when all you have to do is just say hello.  My name is Marty (Mike to some) and I have been absent for fifty years.

To Tom Dabolt a friend for at least 64 years only because my first recolections only go back just under 4 years, you haven't changed.  You are a great friend and laugh so easily.

The hotel, golf club and food was great.  Our view on the Niagara River could not have been better.knowing it ended up at the falls, still a great attraction for turists.  To this day I remember my dad taking all my aunts, uncles and familes  (14) to the falls.  Coming back across the Peace Bridge the guard asking where we were born with me sitting on a bag full of fire crackers answering nothing to declare.

Kathy, Andi and Ty you need to keep the 50th core group together.  Expanding the committee for the 55th and please include me.

I have a number of photos and some video but will have to wait for my better half of 45 years to helkp me.  Stayed tuned.

Thank you to the committee for all your hard work.

Marty

Congratulations to our DREAM TEAM !!!!!

This includes each and everyone of the extended committee. Those calling missing students, setting up the event, manning the greeting table and speakers did a great job.

You are the best and let's find those still missing for the 55th.

A belated "Thank You" to everyone involved in organizing the reunion.  I enjoyed being with classmates I haven't seen in forty (I attended the 10th reunion), or fifty years. Carla had an enjoyable weekend also, everyone she met made her feel welcome. To paraphrase a line from Dan Fogelberg's Same Old Lang Syne: "Just for a weekend I was back at school" !

I look forward to the next reunion.

Well, a month has passed since our reunion, and I am finally home and getting caught up after several short trips since we all gathered on Grand Island. Thank you to the Reunion Committee who worked to make our 50th such a success. Thank you also to Dave D'Amato for his wonderful comments here on the Forum, to Bob Ryan for his remarks on Friday evening and the others who also contributed to making Friday evening so special. I want to thank Marsha Lantman and Tim Reidy for generously helping me out with local transportation. Reconnecting with classmates after so many years was very special. I am amazed and awed by all that we have accomplished since our high school graduation. The Class of 1963 is a wonderful group of people!
