After speaking with Joseph Barry from our class, he informed me that he knew Richard Banks until shortly before he died with Cancer as a result of a heavy exposure to Agent Orange in Viet Nam. Joseph Barry and Richard entered and left the army at the same time 1963 to 1966, leaving at the same time also. Richard became very ill with cancer and died within a year or two of leaving the army. I feel it very important to give special mention to this deceased classmate despite not being a close friend of his.
