I now have 18 grandchildren (2 recently acquired from son's remarriage) but they are ALL my grandchildren, and much-loved. Also have 2 great-grandchildren and there is another on the way. Graduated from Gateway Tech's practical nursing course in 1973. Moved to TN in 1977. Am Choir director/Music director for my church,( St Eliz. Ann Seton Catholic Church in TN. Ridge)Member of Stewart/Houston County chapter of Right To Life, charter member of Daughters of Isabella at St. Elizabeth, and am member of a wonderful ecumenical prayer group which meets monthly to pray, study the Bible, eat, laugh, and sometimes weep. They are like sisters to me. Went on a Hawaiian Islands cruise in Sept. 2008 with my sister Marilyn, sister-in-law Barbara, and another lady. Had a wonderful time. Lost my beloved husband, Gene, to cancer in Feb. 2005. We would have been married for 48 years this year. Also lost niece, Mary Beth, to cancer in Dec. 2008. Greg, Jean and Rick's father, also lost his life to cancer in 2005. I worked in nursing for many years, in nursing home, and also in home-health care nursing. Do miss the patient contact since I retired. Also miss dear friend Harriet, "Scottie" Scott Marano, who also succumbed to cancer. Gene and I owned and operated a "Mom and Pop" store for 5 years here in TN. Got to know all of the neighbors, which was nice, but working 11 or 12 hours a day got to me after 5 years, so I leased it out for a yr., then sold it. Gene was working full-time in Clarksville at the time, so I did most of the store-tending. This is not in very good chronological order. Sorry !!
