We lost another wonderful classmate! Cathy Beck passed away on Jan. 24th after a long battle with cancer. We knew each other throughout High School. As best friends.....Cathy Beck, Christine Becker & I were pretty much insperatable. Always together, we knew each other's families, ate at each other's houses, did crafts together, went to school dances/games, & talked about what we wanted to be when we grew up!
Cathy & I went into the Army together after graduation in 1974, while Chris Becker went onto become a teacher in KUSD. All through school, basic training, stationed at Tripler Army Hosp. in Hawaii, living together off base, dating, getting married, having kids, visiting our families in Wisconsin....no matter where we were living, we always tried to keep in touch. Both women were my best friends.....& both have now passed away. But what they left behind is their legacy. Friendship, love, stories, adventures, & memories that I will cherish.
RIP....both of you.....we will see you again. :) Your forever friend, Barb

So sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. I remember going to her house and working on doing candles.
