Christine Becker was one of my best friends growing up. We met in 6th grade at Lance and became the best of friends. If we weren't dying/cutting each other's hair.....we were embroidering our jeans, making macrame belts, jewelry, painting or sewing. She was so talented. She 'went steady' with and later married a classmate, Ken Becker....and they had two beautiful kids; Anji and Nathan.
After High School, I joined the Army and she became a teacher. We both married and started raising our families.....I always visited her when I was in town. I moved back to Wisconsin 15 yrs. ago, and we reconnected again.
She had divorced and married again.....retired from teaching, and started to travel. I never knew Christine was sick, until I was contacted that she past away from cancer, and went to her 'Celebration of Life'.....but that's how she wanted it. She always lived life to the fullest!! I will deeply miss my friend......but will always keep the memories of her in my heart! :-)
