Joe and I just knew each other. He lived around the corner from where I lived. I know he was a bad diabetic from early childhood. He and I went to all the same schools from 1st grade at Sunnyside, Lincoln and Tremper. I had a crush on him in Junior high. It's why I kept my distance so no one would see that I was gay. So, I am so sad that he has passed. RIP Mr. Demske.
