Clay Peyton

Mr. Clay Carr Peyton, III, 53, of Jefferson died on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at his residence. He was the husband of Rose Y. Bogley. Born on May 22, 1955, in Cheverly, MD, he was the son of Ruth Ferrell Peyton of Falling Waters, WV and the late Clay C. Peyton, Jr. He was a bridge and road inspector for a SHA contractor. Clay was an avid fisherman and hunter but was also a talented artisan known for his handcrafted knives. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are 2 brothers: Joseph Peyton and wife Jacqueline of Frederick and James R. Peyton of Hagerstown; 2 sisters: Mary Hamilton and husband Keith of Salisbury,MD and Julie McNeill and husband Barry of Walkersville; 2 sister-in-laws: Karen Yuschak of Jefferson and Tina Nesmith and husband Russ of Frederick, PA; and father-in-law, Pete Yuschak of Youngstown, OH; 4 nephews and 3 nieces.
