My oldest son (Patrick) is the Parish Administrator at Our Lady of Loretto Parish in Novato. My younest son (Tommy) is busy working at "the Jump Zone" in Lodi where he is very involved in jumping out of perfectly good airplanes. Crazy kid!
Our grandchildren show us what unconditional love is. They are all a joy in our lives.
The "R" word isn't in my near future yet. I have to work so Ron can play golf. My 10-year old grandson (Andrew) puts me to shame making 150-200 yard drives. Oh, well, such is life, right?
I remember the rallies we had before losing yet another football game. (Never knew what first and 10 meant until my children played Pop Warner!) And having to "borrow" my father's white shirt so I could sit in the cheering section at the College of Marin field.
And remember buying a slave for slave day? Now THAT is a story unto itself!
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. I hope we have a great turnout.
