Gordon Stanley, June (Greenmyer) Rose and Larry Huff represented the Keota Graduating Class of 1959 at the school-wide reunion on May 2, 2015. It was good to see the Keota graduates that made it to the event. It was not as well attended as in past years. I guess everyone is too busy with their lives to attend. Gordon Stanley had some serious surgery on his Aoerter. He seems to be improving. C.W. (Dub) Rose is still having problems with his breathing-must take oxygen regularly.

Ronnie Falconer was in Oklahoma City visiting Donnie in April, 1915. He called me and we had a good chat. Most of you should have had burning ears. We discussed most of you in our dialogue. He said that he might come to the reunion in May, but he did not make it. He said that he was doing well, but was not ready to play a ball game anytime soon. Donnie has to stay inside most of the time. He like C,W, (Dub) Rose has difficulty breathing.

Gary,

Good to hear that your trip to Virginia was good. It sounds like you have a future actress in the family. Glad you got your flower garden under control. While one is it always seems that unwanted plants creep into places you don't want them.

Gary,

It was good to hear from you.

It seems like you are on the move and enjoying life to it fullest. Keep it up! People our age must live life as though it were our last day on earth---It could very well be!

Gary,

Good to hear about your trip to Oklahoma. It certainly appears that your observance of Cathy's passing was a very moving, comforting, satisfying experience. I know everyone handles things differently, but your approach is very inspiring and heart warming.

Hope things go well for you this Fall! Be sure and keep us informed of your adventures.

It sounds like Tilt has a suppressed age crisis. He has always been in good shape. He always looks, dresses and smells good as well, but perhaps he is feeling his age more these days and is reacting with the "denial" or at least a "suppressed" identity-age complex. With this disorder one usually becomes overly sensitive about any reference to fitness, mortality, fatigue or who is the oldest. If one lives to a ripe old age, the time will come when one stop concealing their age and starts bragging about it. Obviously,Tilt is not there yet, therefore he needs to be reminded that he is one of the oldest to graduate in The Class of 1959.

According to Tilton Brown and Ruth Ann Suttle, Jim Rose is handling this reunion. He made the reservations in Stigler.  Ruth Ann sent him the names, addresses and telephone numbers of the classmates that she has on her master list. She said that not all of the contact information is current. I sent an e-mail to each class member that filled out profile information on the webb-site. Some of that information  is not current as well. We just need to spread the word to classmates that we know how to contact. I personally heard from Ronnie Falconer, George Cole, Gordon Stanley, Ruth Ann Suttle and Tilton Brown.

Barring being out of state, attending a grandchild's activity, or a doctor's appoint or hospitatiization I plan to attend the meeting.
