Naming of yearbook

How our yearbook got its name (Aquila)   When East Forsyth opened (1962-63 year) - a contest was held allowing students to submit suggestions for the name of the yearbook.   The name Aquila (Latin for Eagle) was submitted by Mike Marshall.   Mike's prize:  $5
In 1962 - $5 would go mucho further than today!     *Mike is related to 'our' Sheree Short.  Sheree - for fun - you should ask Mike just what he did with his winnings.
