Dean Mabe's daughter

Samatha Manring, daughter of Dean Mabe and his '72 wife, Joyce Ables, has been named the new principal of the Children's Center. The Children's Center serves children with health needs.

Samatha has been the assistant principal at Cash Elementary since 2011. She had previously served at K'ville Elementary and Walkertown Elementary as an administrator.

The Children's Center is a part of the Centers for Exceptional Children, and primarily serves children from birth thru 11 years old with orthopedic or long-term chronic health impairments.
