BLACKBURN EAST BEND ~ Tommy Gene Blackburn Jan. 16, 1955 ~ Dec. 2, 2011 Mr. Tommy Gene Blackburn, 56, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Blackburn was born January 16, 1955 in Forsyth County to Thomas and Ivy Parrish Blackburn. He attended Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown. Mr. Blackburn was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Eva Terry Blackburn; two sons, Todd and Timothy Blackburn; three sisters, Linda Blackburn, Sandy Robbins, and Kathy (Sonny) Hylton; & several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown with Rev. Bob Robertson officiating.
