Novella Kerthenia Dixon Eldridge died Nov. 25, 2008 after a lengthy illness.

She was born Oct. 13, 1953 to Corintho Jordan and Richard Dixon at Ft. Bragg, NC.   She was a 1973 graduate of East Forsyth and a faithful member of the Phillip Chapel Baptist Church.

Novella wored at the Salemtowne Nursing Home until her declining health.

Surviving are her husband, Kenny Ray Eldridge, sons Kenneth A. Dixon and Timothy (Tiffany) Dixon; her mother and father; one sister, Camille (Calvin) Calmes, brother Ricardo (Wanda) Dixon; step son Dominique; mother-in-law Ann Eldridge.  She is also survived by 2 sisters-in-law; 2 brothers-in-law, 5 grandchildren and a devoted friend, Sandra Truesdale.
